about.
My name is Maria Eugenia and I am a PhD student at the Universität Bayreuth, Germany, in the Department of Philosophy and Economics. I carry out my research in the field of Ethics, particularly, in Moral Psychology. In my monograph, I investigate a contemporary phenomenon which I name reckless self-evaluation and my aim is to offer a Kantian inspired approach to this behavior. Normative ethics, theories of emotion, gender studies and topics of cognitive neuroscience are some of my interest areas.
